IN THE NAME OF GOD Amen. I Michael Greider of Rapho Township Lancaster County State of Pennsylvania being sick and weak in body but of sound mind and disposing memory thanks be given God. Calling to mind the uncertainty of Life that it is affirmed for all Men once to die making this my last Will and Testament in the manner following viz; In the first place I command my body unto the earth and my soul to be accepted into the hands of the Almighty God who gave it and such as my worldly estate wherewith it pleased God to bless me in the manner following to wit:
Item. I make and order that my just debts and funeral charges shall be paid out of my estate as soon as possible by my hereinafter named Executors.
Item. I give and bequeth to my beloved Wife Anna my Feather Bed and Bedstead Clothes and furniture thereto belonging and her chest which she brought to me and the Saddle together. I give and bequeath unto my wife Anna my New Room built at the North side of my house together with Privilege in the Kitchen and the Firehearth and Cellar and a Garden farmed at the North Side and whole Length of my House will be assigned by my Executors and Six Apple Trees which she chooses Twelve bushels of wheat and Six bushels of Rye and the Fat Hog not less than one hundred and seventy five pounds weight together with the Land one half an acres sowed with Flax and Nine pounds of Hemp one bushel of coarse and one half Bushel of Fine Salt Two pounds of wool together with Firewood as much as she shall have occasion for from time to time ready cut and hauled to the Door all those afore mentioned Articles are to be delivered unto my wife Anna yearly and every year as long as she shall remain my widow...
Item. I give and bequeath my said Platation where I now live in said Township of Rapho to my there Sons, to Wit: Martin Greider, Jacob Greider, and Michael Greider each of my three Sons an equal third part of the said Plantation together with all my Personal Estate...except whatever is before bequeathed.
And lastly I do nominate constitute and appoint my Brother Martin Greider of Hempfield Township and Samuel Nissley of Rapho Township as my Executors of this my last Will and Testament I do hereby make null and void all other will and wills by me made and declare this and no other to be my last Will and Testament.
