Howard K. Kreider, 129 W. Maple St., Cleona, died Saturday afternoon in the Good Samaritan Hospital. A retired carpenter, he was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church, Cleona. He was a former member of the official board of the church and a member of the men's Bible class of the church. He was affiliated with the Cleona Fire Co. and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters 677. He is survived by: his wife, Bertha E. Houser Kreider; three sisters, Mabel Mengel, Palmyra; Sara Sattazahn, Palmyra, and Mary Gibble, Myerstown; a brother, Paul, Lebanon, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was a son of the late Levi and Minnie Kreider.
