Tacie Keefer for many years an active worker in the affairs of St. Mark's United Church of Christ, died at 9:55 o'clock last evening at the Lebanon County Hospital.

A former resident of 453 N. Fifth St., Lebanon, she was a guest of the County Institution District for two years and ill for the last four months. She was 85.

The former Tacie Kreider, she was the daughter of the late John and Susanna (Blouch) Kreider. Her husband, Harvey Keefer, died in 1950. Aside from her home and family, Mrs. Keefer's chief interest for many years was St. Mark's Church. She served on the chancel committee for 25 years, and also held membership in the Mite Society, Missionary Society and the Quilting Circle.

Surviving are two sons, Raymond C. Keefer, Lebanon, and Lester L. Keefer, Baltimore. Also two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was the last of her family.
