Upon the petition of Elizabeth Greider a minor daughter above the age of fourteen years of Michael Grider late of Londonderry township in said County desiring that Jacob Lightcap of the same place may be appointed her Guardian whereupon the court appoint the said Jacob Lightcap Guardian over the person and estate of the said Elizabeth Greider in lieu of Christian Hoffman her former Guardian during her minority.
Jacob Lightcap and Martin [???] each bound unto the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the sum of eight thousand Dollars conditioned that Jacob Lightcap faithfully execute the office and trust of Guardian over the estate of Elizabeth Greider minor daughter of Michael Greider deceased and well and truly to account for and pay over when legally required all such sums of money as shall come or have come to his hands as Guardian of the said minor then this recognizance to be void otherwise valid.
Taken acknowledged in open court. November 11, 1819
October 23, 1819. Christian Hoffman Guardian of Elizabeth Greider appears in court and produces his account and Balance in his hands the sum of three thousand six hundred and ninety four Dollars and fifteen cents which account is held under advisement.
