PALMYRA - Herbert H. Kreider, 91, of 55 Peach Ave., Hershey, formerly of Palmyra RD 2, died Monday in Messiah Village, Upper Allen Twp.
He had been a farmer near Campbelltown and was a member of the Brethren in Christ Church and its Bible Fellowship Sunday School, and the Sojourners Club of Hershey.
He was the widower of Emma H. Brubaker Kreider . Surviving are his wife, Ruth Lauver Gantz Kreider ; a son, Dr. H. Dale Kreider of Tucson, Ariz.; three daughters, Nancy J. Hoke of Mechanicsburg, and Barbara K. Nissley and Kathryn A. Kreider , both of Palmyra; a stepdaughter, Linda K. Hetrick of Palmyra; two sisters, Mary C. Kreider and Anna K. Engle, both of Mechanicsburg; six grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10: 30 a.m. Thursday in his church. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, North Londonderry Twp. Viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Rothermel Funeral Home and from 10 to 10: 30 a.m. Thursday in his church.
