Hilda Irene Stober, 92, died Saturday, March 27, 2010, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of Joseph E. Stober to whom she was married to for over 60 years.
Born in Annville on October 19, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Eden and Leah Stoner. She was employed by the Annville Shoulder Strap Factory and a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Annville.
She is survived by a sister, Millie, wife of Joseph N. Uhler of Lancaster; eight grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; 11 nieces and nephews; and many life long faithful friends. Hilda will be sadly missed. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Shirley Weisgerber and Bonita Turney; two sons-in-law, Frank Weisgerber and Rev. Eugene Turney; two grandchildren, Lisa and Michael Weisgerber; two brothers, Marlin and Harold Stoner; and a sister, Arlene Stoner.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lebanon Valley Home, 550 E. Main St., Annville, PA 17003.
