Eden H Stoner

Eden H. Stoner, United Christian Church Home, Annville RD 1, formerly of Annville, died this morning at the home. He was 86. His wife, the former Leah Bachman, died Nov. 20, 1957. Born in Dauphin County, he was a son of the late Cyrus and Mary Sherk Stoner. A former farmer in the Annville area, he was last employed by Fink's Bakery, Annville. He was a member of Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, Annville. He is survived by a son, Harold, Annville; two daughters, Hilda, wife of Joseph Stober, Annville RD 1, and Mildred, wife of Joseph Uhler Jr., Mt. Gretna; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; a brother, Herman Stoner, Hershey, and a sister, Mame Shope, Palmyra. A son, Marlin, preceded him in death.

Services were held this afternoon in the Kreamer Funeral Home, Annville, for Eden H. Stoner, husband of the late Leah Bachman Stoner, of the United Christian Church Home, Annville. The Rev. Carroll J. Bingaman, pastor of Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, officiated. interment was in the Fairland Brethren In Christ Cemetery. Grandsons serving as pallbearers were; Marlin, Richard, Kenneth and Larry Stoner, Joseph Uhler, 3rd, William Uhler, Carl Long and Lloyd Fortna.
