Mark M. Kreider, 92, died Monday, April 18, 2011, in his residence. He was the husband of the late Marion I. Runkle Kreider. He was born in Annville, on August 21, 1918, a son of the late Joseph and Ida Steckbeck Kreider.
He was a graduate of Annville High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. He was the owner and operator of Kreider's Mobil Service Station from 1952 to 1989. He was also a 50-year member of the Mt. Lebanon Lodge #226 F. & A.M.
He is survived by a daughter, Kay K. Kline, Lebanon; grandchildren, Dean M. Kline, Hummelstown; Debra K. wife of Michael Rovitto, Rose Dale, Md.; Heidi J. wife of Peter Pyles, Jr., Lebanon; great-grandchildren, Brandon Kline, Jason Kline, Brady Kline, Gillian Kline, Calley Grace, Molly Grace, Alexandra Pyles and Mark Pyles. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Warren, Joseph and Carl Kreider.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 5th & Cumberland Sts., Lebanon, where a viewing will begin at 12 Noon. Interment will be made in Grand View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Four Diamonds Fund, P.O. Box 852, Hershey, PA 17033.
