Victor R. Miller, Jr., 91, of Elmcroft Senior Living, Lebanon formerly of Annville died Monday February 2, 2015 in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of the late E. Florine Coleman Miller.
Born in Lancaster on November 15, 1923, he was the son of the late Victor R., Sr. and Mary K. Light Miller. He was a retired pharmacy technician after 34 years of service with the Lebanon VA Medical Center.
Victor was a US Army Veteran of WW II, a graduate of Lebanon High School, a member of Christ Church United Church of Christ, Annville where he sang in the church choir, the A-C Kiwanis Club, Annville VFW Post, Annville American Legion Post 559, Annville Union Hose Fire Company, the former Annville Rescue Fire Company, Lebanon Rescue Fire Company, NARFE, and the Lebanon and Annville Senior Centers. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed playing solitaire, singing with the Elmcroft Chorus, and is now singing in the Heavenly Choir.
Surviving is a daughter Debra A. wife of Edward J. Sklar of Lancaster, and two sisters Claire Bitner of Cornwall and Eloise Walmer of Grantville. He was preceded in death by a sister Fern Kulisch.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewing will be held on Thursday from 10-11 AM prior to the service. Contributions may be made to his Church Memorial Fund, 200 S. White Oak Street, Annville, PA 17003 in his memory.
