Harry K, Kreider, 53; of 1404 E. Queen St., Annville, collapsed and died Monday afternoon while working on a barn roof at Camp Bashore, Green Point. Dr. A. H. Heisey, Lebanon County coroner, said death was caused by a coronary occlusion. Kreider was employed as a carpenter by Lloyd Horst, Lebanon contractor. Efforts to revive the victim were made by the Jonestown ambulance crew, Ono firemen and state police from the Jonestown substation. William Schaeffer and Ellis Harding, ambulance crewmen, attempted to resuscitate Kreider, reportedly with no response. The Ono firemen were called to help remove the victim from the roof with ladders. Kreider, who was formerly engaged in farming, was a member of the Annville Church of the Brethren and its Sunday school.

Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret F. Wampler; two sons, Eugene R., Lebanon, and Donald W., stationed with the U.S. Army at Ft. Knox, Ky.; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Mengel, Palmyra RD 1; Mrs. Sarah Sattazahn, Palmyra, and Mrs. Mary Gibble, Myerstown RD 2; four brothers, Howard K. and Paul, Cleona; Michael, Lebanon, and John, Wernersville. He was a son of the late Levi and Minnie Kreider Kreider.
