John H. Kreider age 69, of Mt. Joy, he was a son of the late Henry K. and Katie Hoffman Kreider. He was a former teacher in Lebanon county and had been a farmer for the past 45 years. He was a member and deacon of the Brethern in Christ Church, Elizabethtown and former member of the board of trustees of Messiah's Children's Home.

He was survived by wife, Anna Kuhns Kreider, sons, John K. of East Petersburg; Henry L. Madhitura, India; daughter, Mrs. Lois Peterman, Mt. Joy; brothers, Ethan A. and Herbert H Kreider both of Campbelltown; sisters, Mary C. Kreider, Elizabethtown; Mrs. Grace Stoner, East Berlin; and Mrs. Anna Engle of Campbelltown and eight grandchildren.
