Victor H. Diener, 90, Jonestown, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon. He was the husband of the late Stella P. Tkaczyk Diener who died in October 2006.

Born in Cleona March 24, 1917, he was the son of the late Robert and Bessie Kreider Diener. Victor was self-employed as a used car dealer. He was a 4th Degree Honor Guard member of Knights of Columbus, 1934 graduate of Jonestown High School, member of St. Mary's Church and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Victor enjoyed many hobbies and passions including furniture making, musical instrument making, hunting, fishing, traveling, investing, and photography.

Surviving are children Francine, wife of Peter Caputo of Wynnewood, PA, and Victor R., husband of Andrea Diener of Philadelphia; grandchildren Stephen P. Caputo and David V. Caputo of Brooklyn, NY, Michael J. Caputo of San Francisco, Matthew E. Diener of Philadelphia, and Andrea Hawkins of Downingtown; brother Paul Diener of Palmyra; sisters-in-law Jean Diener, Anna Pekarik, Mary Neuin, and Helen, wife of John Rzecka; several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday at St. Mary's Church, Lebanon. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
