Minnie J. Kreider, 201 E. Main St., Palmyra, died Sunday night in the Hershey Medical Center. She was 76 and the wife of A. Paul Kreider. Mrs. Kreider's death followed an illness of seven months.

She was prominently identified for many years with religious activities in Palmyra. A member of the Palmyra Church of the Brethren, she served at one time as a teacher in the Children's Department of the Sunday school. She also was a member of the church choir and formerly held membership on the Palmyra Council of Churches. Mrs. Kreider was also a member of the Palmyra Woman's Club.

Survivors in addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Richard E. Kreider, Palmyra, and two daughters, Jeanne, wife of Dr. Fred O. Brandt, Palmyra, and Patricia, wife of William C. Desch, West Islip, Long Island. Five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. A native of the Elm area of Lancaster County, she was a daughter of Samuel S. and Amanda Graybill Stauffer.
