GEORGE B. KREIDER, 77, SUCCUMBS IN PALMYRA

George B. Kreider, aged seventy-seven years, died at 7:30 o'clock this morning at the home of a daughter and sister, Mrs. Gertrude Peters and Miss Ada Kreider, of 109 North Railroad street, Palmyra. Mr. Kreider, who had been in ill health for the past seven years, had been bedfast for the past six weeks.

Born November 5, 1856, at Cornwall, the son of the late Gottlieb and Mary Hoke Kreider, he resided for the greater part of his life in Lebanon and Lebanon county, although he resided for some time at Lancaster and Hershey. He was a blacksmith and chainmaker, a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran church, Hershey, and affiliated with the Lebanon P. O. S. of A. 381, and the Lebanon Knights of Eagle.

In addition to his wife, Mary, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Peters and Mrs: A. C. Kraft, of Palmyra; three brothers, Gottlieb Kreider, of Bunker Hill; William Kreider, of Cleona, and Tobias Kreider, of Quentin, and two sisters, Ada Kreider, of Palmyra, and Mrs. Grant Light, of Iona. One grandson also survives.
