A. James Kreider, 62, 490 E. Maple St., Annville, died Wednesday night at his home.
Born in Annville, he was a son of the late Andrew R. and Winifred Stover Kreider.
He was a former vice president of the A. R. Kreider Hosiery Mill, Annville; former vice president and director of the Lebanon Valley National Bank; former member and president of the Annville Rotary Club and was very active in the war bond drive during World War II.
A 1924 graduate of Annville High School, he was a 1925 graduate of Mercersburg Academy and also attended Penn State.
He is survived by his wife, Effie Holstein; three sons, A. James Jr., Lebanon; Dr. P. Lawrence, Palmyra; and Andrew R. 2nd, Miami, Fla.; one daughter, Judith, wife of William LeRoy, Annville RD 1.
Also three brothers: Stanley and Thomas, both of Annville RD 1 and Fred, Annville; eight grandchildren and one aunt, Miss Anna Kreider, Annville.
