Mrs. Dorothy Kreider Shaw, of 443 Walnut Street, Columbia, died at 5:45 o'clock on Thursday at the Lancaster General Hospital. Death followed an illness of several years. She was 38 years of age, and taught school in Lebanon for nine years in the Lindley/Murray, Burrowes and West Lebanon Schools. She was a member of the St. Paul Evangelical Church. She graduated from Jonestown High School and West Chester State Teachers College, and attended Lebanon Valley College, the University of Penna., and New York University.

The survivors are her husband, William R. Shaw; mother, Mrs. Annie L. Kreider, of Lebanon; brothers, Ralph Kreider, of Lebanon; & Herbert Kreider, of Jonestown. Her father was the late Ira Kreider. Interment in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
