This indenture made the third day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty nine, Between Christian Kreider of Lebanon Township in the county of Lebanon and state of Pennsylvania yeoman of the one part, And his son Daniel Kreider of the same place yeoman of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Christian Kreider for and in consideration of the sum of nine thousand six hundred thirty five dollars and sixty two and half cents, lawful money of the state of Pennsylvania to him in hand well and truly paid by the said Daniel Kreider at and before the ensealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof doth acquit and forever discharge the said Daniel Kreider his heirs executors and administrators by these presents hath granted bargained, sold aliened, enfeoffed, released and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release and confirm unto the said Daniel Kreider and to his heirs and assigns all that contain messuage tenement and tract of land situate in Lebanon township in the county of Lebanon aforesaid. Bounded and described as follows to wit: Beginning at a post in a line of Joseph Long's land and thence by land intended to be granted to Michael Kreider north eighty one degrees and an half East twenty six perches and five tenths to a stone thence by land of Tobias Kreider north seventy nine degrees East eighty four perches and five tenths to a stone, thence by the same north fourteen and an half degrees west one hundred and six perches and an half to a stone, thence north thirty eight degrees west eighty eight perches to a stone thence by Jacob Keller and Daniel Kreider's other land, south seventy degrees west one hundred and seventy six perches to a Hickory, thence by land late of Jacob Rupp Jacob Kreider and Joseph Long south forty five and a fourth degrees, East one hundred and eighty eight perches and two tenths to a post the place of Beginning Containing one hundred and sixty acres and ninety five perches and the allowance of six percent for roads: It being part of the same tract of land which the Honourable the late proprietaries of Pennsylvania by their patent or grant bearing date the eight day of February A. D. 1747 for the consideration therein mentioned did grant and confirm unto John Kreider, and to his heirs and assigns a certain tract of land situate in Lebanon township Dauphin County in the said patent particularly described, Containing three hundred and ten acres and an half and the allowance with the appurtenances, To hold to him his heirs and assigns for ever as in and by said patent recorded at Philadelphia in the Office for Recording of Deeds in Patent Book A: vol: 13. page 430. And whereas the said John Kreider by his indenture bearing date the twenty eight day of January A. D. 1772: For the consideration therein mentioned did grant and confirm unto his son the said Michael Kreider, his heirs and assigns all that the said three hundred and ten acres and an half and the allowance as aforesaid. And whereas the said Michael Kreider by his indenture under his hand and seal bearing date the 9th day of November A. D. 1811 For the consideration herein mentioned did grant and confirm unto his son the said Christian Kreider his heirs and assigns, One hundred and seventy acres and fourteen perches and the allowance of which the above described tract of one hundred sixty acres and ninety five perches of lands and the allowance of 6 percent, being a part; as in and by the said recited indenture reference may be had, may more fully appear; the said recited indenture being recorded at Harrisburg in Deed Book T. vol. 1. page 35, reference being had. Together also, with all and singular the houses out-houses, barns, stables, gardens, orchards, meadows, fields, fences, ways, woods, waters, water-courses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments, and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining: And the [???] and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof; and also all the estate right, title, interest use trust property possesion claim and demand whatsoever of him the said Christian Kreider in law or equity or otherwise; however, of, in, to, or out of the same, To have and to hold, the said tract of land above mentioned and described heredetaments and premises hereby granted and released, or mentioned or intended so to be with the appertenances unto the said Daniel Kreider his heirs and assigns, To the only proper use and behoof of him the said Daniel Kreider his heirs and assigns for ever, Subject however to a certain bond of performance bearing even date herewith and the said Christian Kreider for himself heirs executors and administrators doth covenant promise grant and agree to and with the said Daniel Kreider his heirs and assigns by these presents, that he the said Christian Kreider and his heirs, the said above mentioned and described tract of land hereditaments and premises hereby granted and released or mentioned, or intended so to be with the appertenances, unto the said Daniel Kreider his heirs and assigns against him the said Christian Kreider and his heirs and against all and every person and persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part or parcel thereof subject to the bond of performance only shall and will warrant and for ever defend by these presents, In witness whereof the said parties to these presents have interchangeably set their hands and seals dated the day and year first above written,
