INQUEST INTO THE DEATH OF ETHEL KREIDER

Dr. T. W. Preston and Ralph Bixler Held Responsible

DIED ON SUNDAY

At Good Samaritan Hospital After Making Antemortem Statement

A coroner's jury, at an inquest at the Courthouse, Wednesday afternoon, held Dr. T. W. Preston, of Carlisle, and Ralph Bixler, of Annville, responsible for the death of Ethel May Kreider, who passed away at the Good Samaritan Hospital, on Sunday last, following the writing of a statement in which she accused both men. Dr. A. L. Hauer, who treated the girl during her confinement at the Good Samaraitan, and who was present when she made the antemortem statement, and who also assisted in an autopsy made upon the body of the deceased, was the principal witness. Dr. Constance Volk, an interne at the hospital, was the only other witness.

Adam F. Miller, Esq., was present and assisted in the examination of the witnesses, as the representative of District Attorney Fred S. Reese, of Cumberland county.
